Stravaganza - A New Online Casino Card Game

Stravaganza is a new game introduced to the Playtech network of online casinos, including Casino Tropez. It is a card table game that is played with 5 decks of cards. The object of the game is very simple – all you have to do is have a total higher than the dealer. The value of each card is similar to Blackjack, in that picture cards are worth 10 points each, an ace is worth 1 point and all other cards allocated points according to their rank. The difference between this game and Blackjack is that you cannot bust, so the more points you have, the better!

How to Play
Click on the chips to place your bet on the table in the area marked "PLAY", then click the "Deal" button. You will be dealt two cards face up, and the dealer will be dealt three cards face down. You then have a choice, depending on your points total.

• Money Back - If your total is 5 or less, then you are able to get your full bet back and end the round.



• Rescue Bet - If your total is between 6 and 9, then you have the option to get half of your bet back and end the round.



• Sit - If your total is 10 or more, then you can choose to sit and play your two cards and your original bet.



• Play On - If you choose this option, you must place a second bet that is the same size as the first bet. You will then be dealt a third card to boost your point total. This option is available at anytime.
  

Once you have selected an option, the dealer will reveal their hand. If the total points score of the dealer is higher than yours then you will lose all bets that you have placed, but if your total points are higher then you win 1:1 on all bets.

There is one exception – if the dealer's hand contains a red ace then you will lose your first bet and your second bet will be pushed, regardless of the totals.

Bonus payouts
It is also possible to receive a bonus win on your three card hand. If you receive a Three of a Kind then you will receive a payout of 3:1 on your first bet amount. If your hand contains three face cards of any rank, then you will receive a payout of 1.5:1 on your first bet.

Progressive Jackpot
Stravaganza also offers the option for players to make an additional side bet which is used for the Progressive Jackpot. If you receive a winning card combination according to the Progressive Jackpot pay table, then you will receive part of the jackpot prize! Usually the highest jackpot prize is won when you are dealt Three Kings of Hearts.
