Online gaming group PartyGaming released a trading statement earlier today, indicating financial performance in the fourth quarter has been in line with management's expectations and it remains confident about the prospects for the current year.
Q4 Key Performance Indicators are due from PartyGaming on January 30, 2008 with final results for 2007 to be released on March 5, 2008. The news had little effect on share price, with PartyGaming (LSE: PRTY) closing slightly stronger at 30.25p. PartyGaming took the opportunity yesterday to release some positive news, with the announcement one of the new non-executive directors (namely Stephen Box) had purchased 200,000 shares at 30p per share. £60,000 is not going to send investors rallying to PartyGaming, but it's a start. The press department at PartyGaming had a rare busy day yesterday with another announcement – that Party Casino has signed an exclusive licensing arrangement with Paramount Pictures to create a range of Online Slot games based on four blockbuster films. The new Party Casino slots will be based on Top Gun, The Godfather, Saturday Night Fever and Mission: Impossible and will be available for PartyCasino players early next year. PartyGaming Chief Executive Mitch Garber, commented on the deal: "This licensing agreement with Paramount, one of Hollywood's leading studios, enables us to offer more great entertainment to PartyCasino customers…Popular brands are a differentiating factor in online gaming and this latest alliance will enhance and distinguish the quality of PartyCasino's offer."
